Pitch Blog

The first pitch we came up with was about two athletes that played volleyball and were inseparable. One of them never had a passion for any sports and were your usual quite phone glued character. The other was already a volleyball player. One day the nonchalant athlete was sitting on the stairs on his phone and as the active athlete was coming down he dropped the volleyball he was holding and yelled watch out as it was heading towards the nonchalant athlete. The yell caught him off guard and hit his phone. But in an instant, he managed to recover the ball with the perfect hit and catch his phone after a light tap upwards. The active athlete, witnessing the nonchalant quick reflexes and excellent catch, is astonished by his skills. The active athlete asks the nonchalant if he belongs to the volleyball club. the nonchalant answers no. Shocked at the nonchalant athlete's natural talent, The active athlete invites him to play volleyball together. the nonchalant athlete agrees, but only if he is given money. the nonchalant agrees with The active athletes' condition. The active athlete's life has been filled with mundane and boring events until he met the nonchalant athletes. Now, The active athlete has found the nonchalant athlete, his own gem. This pitch will be a high probability of our group being able to do this as we have athletes who play volleyball and enough time to get the recording sessions in without a reason not to be able to. Another pitch we came up with is about two characters who are from separate parts of the world. They are brought together by a small encounter at a store. they quickly fall in love, only to be separated by a series of events that put them against the world. the couple faces challenges like distance, social pressure, and their own emotions. They fight through it all with heartbreaking moments and heartwarming scenes. This pitch will have a little more work to be done around it but overall should be doable and is a good backup pitch.
